So bruv, today marks the day we introduce a new series to the website. We’re really hoping you’re going to like it. Anyway, let’s explain a little more about it. There are two types of men in the world, and we say world because we’re pretty sure this cuts across way beyond Africa, let alone Kenya. The first is the guy who likes courting and dating his women during the day. Throwing game while the sun’s out, Day game, while the other, is the guy of the nightclub, bars and dinner dates. He doesn’t let his freak out until he sees the moon. This is known as Night game. Bet you didn’t know there were terms for such shit huh?
Any who, in we come to highlight for you the best spots in and around Nairobi where you can take advantage of your Day game or Night game skills. Only the best for all of you, and hopefully you’ll soon come to agree to this as well. And our first entry to the Day game series is Donuts World, Westlands.
There are not many places that are better than Donuts World, when it comes to an elegant coffee and donuts date. Bruv, and if you still think a coffee date is a useless endeavor, then you seriously need to think again. Besides being one of the most affordable ways to get to meet the shorty other than your digs of course, it offers you the opportunity to really get to vet the broad.
Donuts World is an American styled café found in Apic Centre along Mpaka Road, Westlands. Like its name suggests, they’re predominantly known for their donuts and pastries in general, however, they serve up way more than that. Their prices for their main courses might be a tad bit on the expensive side seeing as how the cheapest burger they have, which is a lamb grilled burger, will cost you about 900ksh and just a plain plate of fries will set you back 350ksh.
With this place we suggest you keep things simple with going the coffee and pastries route, 4pm in the afternoon being the perfect time. And honestly, their pastries alone are really worth the visit. The pastry and donut price range is from 150-400ksh, depending on what pastry you pick, the more elaborate the more expensive. Coffee goes for about 200ksh. Go for the cappuccinos.
All in all, this place has the charm, ambiance and elegance to impress anyone. It’s a well-lit, well ventilated atmosphere that of which rarely ever gets packed so you’re usually assured complete privacy and the staff is just to die for. Extremely friendly and accommodative. It stays open until 1am everyday so transforming the situation into a Night game affair is very possible at Donuts World, however, they don’t serve alcoholic drinks, so just know it’ll be a sober night.
